Shelley began her yoga journey the same way many people do – as a way to improve health and reduce stress. What she quickly learned is that yoga offers a third important benefit: spiritual growth.

Shelley has studied many styles of yoga, but her quest for a total yoga experience lead her to Sri Dharma Mittra and his Life of a Yogi teacher training, which she has completed at the 200, 500, & 800-hour levels, at his center in New York City. Because of this, Shelley encourages all students to think of the time on their mat, not only as exercise, but also as a form of meditation – an opportunity to go within.
